Monday Sept 2 You are invited to participate in a silent auction to bid on any (or all) of the Turtles on display. And the best part? You don’t have to be present to bid or to win. Bidding will be done electronically.
Not tech savvy? No problem, just come by the booth and we can help you submit your bid.
*Auction winners will be notified automatically when the auction closes. (Great News - we've extended the bidding until 3pm!). All turtles should be picked up by 4pm at the booth on Labor Day. Can't get it then? Alternate pickup arrangements can be made on request.
Bidding will be open on Monday September 2 from 9am - 3pm.
Advance information and photos of the artwork for auction will be available for preview throughout the summer.
Not ready to bid on a turtle of your own? You can still help add more artwork to the community!
With each community art project, the Crooked Creek Art League donates at least one finished piece to the Town of Chapin for permanent display and inclusion on the Chapin Art Trail. Please help us donate the turtle, Jasmine, to become a permanent installation in the center of town by donating toward offsetting it's costs. Together we can make this happen - every little bit helps!
Finally, many hands make light work. As one of the most visible projects the league does, this is a great way to make people aware of who we are. It always leads to new members finding us and new sponsors supporting us. These are the things that make all the other initiatives of the league (shows, workshops, etc.) possible. Volunteering to help is also a great way to get to know your fellow CCAL members. Please give us a little of your time to help make it all happen. Please let us know what you are willing and able to do.
