Artist's Statement:

Although many of my paintings have been of flowers, I do enjoy painting other subjects from photos that I have taken while vacationing, going on “field trips” with my art buddies, dining with family, or watching my Boykin Spaniel, Lexie, practice for field trials. All of the paintings selected for The Coffee Shelf are done in watercolor, my medium of choice.
