In this month's edition of Chapin Magazine, our very own Sonya Diimmler and Ann Sweeney are featured in a great article about their art. It celebrates their art, their loving relationship and is a great tribute to Ann.

Ann Sweeney was a long time member and ardent supporter of CCAL who loved supporting and encouraging her fellow artists. Sadly, Ann passed away recently (on July 27, 2020). In conjunction with her wishes, in honor of her memory and in celebration of all that she did for the league over the years, we have set up an Ann Sweeney Memorial Award Fund. This fund will support providing a $75 Ann Sweeney Memorial Award to a 2D Amateur the juror-selected artist each year as part of the annual juried show until the fund is exhausted. Contributions to the memorial may be made through the Crooked Creek Art League website HERE or by mailing your check designating the memorial to our treasurer.

We invite you to help us honor Ann by donating to the Ann Sweeney Memorial Award Fund.
