Tommy Thompson

I spent my childhood years in rural Kentucky and enjoy painting scenes I remember from the barns, farm houses and outbuildings that I played in as a child. I have been painting for about 50 years now. I enjoy painting in acrylic paint on large canvases or smaller, rural scenes in watercolor. I have also enjoyed working with leaded or copper-foiled stained glass to produce windows and free-standing images.

CCAL Gallery Host:

CCAL is thrilled to collaborate with the Chapin Theatre Company to present visual along with performing arts at the home of the Chapin Theatre Company. The gallery occupies a front corner of the theatre lobby with space for wall hanging art. The artwork can be viewed during normal hours of operation.

This exhibit hosts 12 linear feet of wall hanging pieces. This exhibit rotates every three months. Artists are encouraged to donate a portion of any sales back to the Chapin Theatre Company to help support their operations (10% is recommended).
