I won 2nd Place Amateur art for my painting “Mama Red Bird” in the 2021 Crooked Creek Art League Annual Juried Show.

I moved to Lexington SC in 1999 to work for Southeastern Freight Lines as a Pricing Analyst. Prior to that I worked for Preston Trucking Company in Maryland for 27 years as a Corporate Pricing Analyst. My education was in business management science, and I was awarded the Governor’s Citation from the governor of Maryland for academic achievement and eventually earned a BS degree in Management Science from Wesley College.  I retired in 2016 after working 17 years for Southeastern Freight Lines. I took art lessons with my wife, Brenda Gadow Clark at the Village Artists gallery in Sand Hill for about 6 months where I discovered to my amazement that I could paint. I am a self-taught artist. I enjoy painting dramatic sky and water acrylic landscapes as well as birds.
