Artist Bio
Mary Collette
I am a native of Massachusetts relocating to South Carolina in 2003. Following my husband’s military and my own retirement, I now have the time and opportunity to pursue my passion for art. I have had instructions on various mediums through Barbie Mathis, Dale Bishop, Gretchen Parker, Michael Story and Melony Stuckey. In 2020, I won first place at the Still Hopes Exhibit and 2021 receiving first prize at the jury show in Chapin. My paintings have been shown at various venues to include the South Carolina Fair. Being a member of CCAL since 2019, has offered me the opportunity as an artist to learn and share art.
