Artist Statement

Cactus Relocated is an 18" x 15" watercolor that represents how things can change as you paint. This Aiken county cactus was "relocated" to a more Southwestern desert setting.

Artist Bio

Allyn Bedenbaugh

Allyn Bedenbaugh has lived in Columbia all her life. She attended USC and received an elementary education degree and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching. She has been a member of Seven Oaks Art League and has recently joined Crooked Creek Art League. Her work has been shown for many years at the South Carolina State Fair, as well as art league juried shows. Her medium is mainly watercolor, but she also enjoys colored pencils.

Each month, the BB&T Chapin Branch Office graciously features the art of one of our artists in their lobby in the Bank on Art Artist Gallery. We are proud to have BB&T as a business partner and are grateful for their support.

This exhibit features one piece of wall hanging artwork per month.


The gallery can be located in the front lobby of the Chapin branch of BB&T located at 1301 Chapin Road, Chapin, SC.
