I hope you have marked your calendar for our first CCAL meeting of the 2020-21 year. You are invited to join us on Zoom. The Zoom room opens at 6:45pm for chat, and the meeting will begin at 7:00pm.

Important Information for You from the Board Meeting

· The Ann Sweeney Memorial Award for the Juried Show has been established. Information is located on our website by clicking on Join/Support. If you wish to donate, you may do so on the website or by sending your check to Maureen Carter, treasurer.

· Member of the Year voting has been extended to Friday. Voting may be done through our website by clicking on CCAL Artists.

· There are two workshops, both virtual, available in October. Information about them is available on our website under Workshops.

The first will feature Columbia artist, Rob Shaw. His palette knife oil workshop will be on Saturday, October 24.
The second will be "Art into Poetry" presented by our own Randy Spencer. This eight-week workshop will meet one morning per week beginning either the first or second week of October for approximately 1-1½ hours each week.

· CCAL is inviting our members to be Guest Authors for Posting here on the CCAL’s Blog. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your art, art hints, awards, etc.
