2024 CCAL End of Year Party, Annual Contest and May Meeting
Our end of year party will be held in conjunction with our May meeting this year, on Monday May 20th.
We will once again be holding this meeting both in person and online via Zoom.
We will be doing potluck for our refreshments. Please let Carol Blackwood what you are bringing. Refreshments will begin at 5:30pm.
All members are eligible to participate in the Annual Contest. There is no entry fee but pre-registration is required. See the prospectus HERE.
All artists bringing artwork to participate in the Annual Contest should bring their own easels and have their artwork set up before 5:30pm. We will have tables available if you want to use a table easel. Floor easels will also work well (please plan to bring one for your painting if you can).
Refreshments will begin at 5:30pm. The meeting will begin at at 6pm. The park closes at 8pm so we need to be able to finish and vacate the building in time.
We will open our regular Zoom CCAL meeting space for people to join in online at 5:30pm, if they prefer, so that they can still see the meeting and artwork presentation (see Zoom login information below).
Donations (funds or artwork supplies) will be collected for donation to the Arts Education program at the Epworth Children's Home.
This month, our presentation will be showcasing the entries in our annual contest. This year's theme is "Sights from Around the World". All voting for awards will be done by in person voting only. Online participants will be able to see the artwork and awards but will not be able to vote.
Please plan on attending and casting your vote for the best artwork if you're there in person!
