2021 Annual CCAL Christmas Party

CROOKED CREEK ART LEAGUE CHRISTMAS PARTY

Monday, December 13th, 2021

5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Crooked Creek Park

Celebrate the holidays and join us for food, fellowship and some fun games at our annual Christmas Party, which will be held at Crooked Creek Park. The party will be one week EARLIER than our regularly scheduled meeting. It will be on Monday, December 13. We plan to again offer this as a hybrid in-person meeting with a simultaneous Zoom option for those uncomfortable or unable to meet in person.

Come join in the fun as we spend a wonderful evening of fun and fellowship. Always a popular event, everyone is welcome to attend and bring a guest.

CCAL will provide a couple of meat/cheese trays, as well as soft drinks/tea, and the necessary paper products. Please bring a food item for the party as well as tongs/serving spoons, if needed. You may also bring individually wrapped items. All food items should be delivered and in place by 5:30 p.m. Masks will be required as well as gloves (provided at the serving tables) for service. Appropriate procedures will be posted and someone will be available to assist in the serving area as needed. Crooked Creek Park also requires masks while in their facilities and meeting areas.

We have planned three holiday “competition” games for the party, to be held at 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00. Party will conclude at 7:30 p.m. to allow time for cleanup prior to 8:00 p.m. closing time.

Image of a woman holding out a Christmas present — We are also collecting art supplies for children to be donated to We Care. A donation box will be set up at the sign-in table if you wish to donate an item. Gifts should not be wrapped.

Attendance at this event counts as one of the required three meetings toward entry into this year's juried show.

To give us a little more space to spread out, we will meet in the FRONT meeting room adjacent to the kitchen (where our awards reception has been held in the past). This is the first room on the left after entering through the lobby.
In light of current high rates of infection and CDC guidelines, we request that everyone wear masks during the meeting except when eating. The Board will revisit this policy as the situation evolves or park policies change.
