A peaceful scene with small fishing boats resting on sandbars waiting with their bright red buoys for the tide to return. This scene is from Polly Steps, Teignmouth on the Teign River in England. It brings back great memories of a wonderful trip we took to the UK.

Artist Bio
Barbara Teusink is an artist whose work is represented in private collections across the USA and Canada. A contemporary realist, Barbara’s subjects include still life, floral, portrait, figure and landscape. Her paintings have won numerous awards at the State and Local level.
Working primarily in oils, Barbara began her artistic studies in November 2012 after retiring from a professional career in educational technology. She strives to capture and preserve the beauty all around us in the fleeting moments of life; an expression or gesture, the light, the season, or a striking arrangement of objects. Barbara lives in Chapin with her husband, dog and cat.
A very active member of the Crooked Creek Art League, Barbara has served in numerous roles including two terms as president. She currently serves as co-Webmaster and Social Media Manager, Parliamentarian and Community Art Chair.
