Blue Lavender Gallery Opens!
CCAL, in conjunction with the Blue Lavender Spa, is proud to announce the grand opening of the "Blue Lavender Gallery". The gallery is located in the lobby of Blue Lavender Spa & Medical Aesthetics at 1400 Chapin Road and will host the artwork of one of Crooked Creek Art League's fine artists each month. The initial display in the gallery showcases artwork by Alex DiFrancesco.

Alex's piece, "Salt Marsh" is a photograph of a beautiful low country scene. Alex's photography will be on display throughout the month of June.
Alex has been a member of CCAL since 2016.
Artist Bio
I enjoy photographing nature. This photograph was taken on Hunting Island, SC. These are the roots of a fallen tree post Hurricane Matthew. It shows the extreme power of Mother Nature.Artist Bio: A native of Bluefield, West Virginia, Alexandra (Alex) is a retired school guidance counselor. She has had the opportunity to live on both the East and West Coasts before moving to Chapin, South Carolina in 2016. Alex has enjoyed photography since she was a child, playing with her parents Kodak Brownie camera. She enjoys a variety of subjects which include her grandchildren. Alex loves photographing anything to do with nature and architectural features. She is a member of Crooked Creek art League and currently serves on their board as grant writer.
