October 2016 Spotlight Artist of the Month

Sandra Wilkie began her art career as an artist when she retired from 40+ years working in the telecommunications and project management arenas. Just prior to retirement in 2013, Sandra joined a friend in attending oil painting classes, even though she had only painted in watercolor for a short time 20 years earlier, and found that she loved oils! Sandra continues to paint with the "Corley Mill Artists Group" and her work can be seen on their website at www.corleymillart.com/galleries/sandra-wilkie/. Sandra's focus in art is on painting the things she loves - sea shells, beaches, landscapes, flowers, still life, and beautiful scenery from her travels. She loves to share her art with others and looks forward to the next work of art!

Sandra became a member of CCAL in 2013.
