I will forever consider myself a student of Art. I love the infinite variety there is to learn about creating images – I’ll try almost anything! I like to create images of subtle realism to hopefully gain the viewers attention and then, hold their attention by giving them something interesting to see. Exploring how color, light and texture can be manipulated to create an image is most exciting. My favorite media is Watercolor, but I also enjoy Acrylic, Collage, Mixed Media and sometimes Oil.
I am the Treasurer of Crooked Creek Art League and a member of the SC Watermedia Society. My work has won some awards and I do enjoy the validation of winning, but for me, going through the creative process and ending up with a successful result, is the best reward.

CCAL Gallery Host:
Each month, CCAL shines a spotlight on one of our own. The Chapin Chamber of Commerce graciously features the art of this artist in their lobby in the CCAL Spotlight Artist Gallery.
This exhibit features one piece of wall hanging artwork per month.
The gallery is located in the lobby of the Chapin Chamber of Commerce at 302 Columbia Avenue in Chapin. It hosts a rotating display with a new piece from a Crooked Creek Art League artist featured each month.
