Oh Buoy! Lobster Time is a watercolor that was painted from a photograph taken when my husband and I visited Maine. The colorful lobster buoys are seen everywhere from the fishing docks to the yards of the residents. In this painting one can see that these buoys are no longer used and are lined up next to a rusty anchor.
Sandra Oliver
A member of Crooked Creek Art League since 2014, Sandra Oliver has served as co-chair of the Juried Art Exhibition, workshop coordinator, and president of the League. Her primary medium is watercolor, although she occasionally works in acrylics. She has been juried into the South Carolina State Fair Fine Arts Exhibit every year since she began painting in 2011. She has also exhibited in Crooked Creek Juried Art Exhibition, Still Hopes Exhibit, Union County Arts Council Juried Art Show, North Charleston Juried Art Show, Old Santee Canal Juried Art Show (Moncks Corner), and Art Flow (Allendale). She has paintings in both The Gallery and Handcrafted Artists Emporium in Newberry.

CCAL Gallery Host:
Sozo Family Fitness is proud to host a guest artist display each month in the "Sozo Family Fitness Gallery". In addition to helping Chapin get fit, Kara is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts in Chapin. We are thrilled to be working with Sozo to showcase more art in town.
The gallery is located in the front lobby at Sozo Fitness at 510 Columbia Avenue. It hosts a piece of art by one of Crooked Creek Art League's artists on a monthly rotation.
