Palmetto Fine Arts Gallery: Michael Naughton - October and November 2023

Crooked Creek Art League thanks Palmetto Fine Arts (PFA) for generously providing a dedicated space for two of our artists to showcase their art among the great display of Fine Art in their gallery. You can see the current exhibit through the end of November 2023.

Featured in the current exhibit with multiple pieces is CCAL artist Michael Naughton.

Artist Bio

Michael Naughton is a self-taught acrylic painter who enjoys using bright colors to paint a variety of types of paintings. His favorite style of painting is best described as abstract expressionism. Most recently you may have seen some of Michael's work at the Cottontown Art Crawl, Still Hopes and the Rosewood

Art and Music Festival. At the Rosewood event, out of eighty plus artists, Michael's submitted painting was one of ten selected for the juried event. In April he will be showing a selection of pieces at Artista Vista in Columbia.

Michael is a native of Pittsburgh, PA and has been a resident of Lexington County/Chapin for almost 30 years. Michael retired from Westinghouse Electric Company in 2021. He's a graduate of Penn State University and La Roche University.


CCAL Gallery Host:

The gallery is located in the heart of Palmetto Fine Arts at 140 Amicks Ferry Road, Unit E, Chapin.

The CCAL Gallery Display at Palmetto Fine Arts & Custom Frame Gallery is hosted by TC Bowers, owner and league member. Floral, landscape, still life and abstract works by local artists illuminate the gallery and pieces are rotated on a regular basis. The gallery is open to the public during Palmetto Fine Arts normal business hours. Find a print or original piece. You can have TC frame it for you or select a piece that is already framed and purchase it immediately. To find out about special shows held throughout the year visit their web site where information is updated constantly.

Two artists are included in each exhibit, each with an 8'Hx4'W wall to display a number of pieces of wall hanging artwork. The displays rotate every two months.
